Info:This simple and elegant semi-detached house situated in the posh Bukit Timah area has been designed to look like a detached house. With privacy being of the upmost importance for the owners, the house has been designed with a two-layer skin: with vertical patterned louvre sunshading and large sliding full glazed windows. This design feature is repeated in the second floor balcony of the master bedroom where the owners may close off the balcony by sliding the aluminum sun screen while still maintaining the natural cross ventilation of the room and building. Our team used an open plan design throughout the spaces that allow for quick configuration of the spaces by various flush hidden sliding and hidden doors. The house’s main feature is the 3-storey staircase that transcends the floors in a simple yet graceful language of timber and steel.
